CPD & Consultancy for Schools
I provide leadership development, middle leader coaching, and CPD design for schools of all types. My work is grounded in senior leadership experience as Director of Teaching and Learning at a leading independent school, and as a Head of Department in a high-performing grammar school. I understand the realities of inspection, accountability, and the practical constraints faced by school leaders.

I design and deliver both sustained, evidence-informed professional learning programmes and bespoke one-off sessions. A particular area of specialism is scaffolding staff reflective enquiry and introducing coach-like skills such as active listening and purposeful questioning. These approaches strengthen professional dialogue, build leadership capacity, and support long-term cultural change.

My doctoral research at the University of Cambridge focuses on professional development through dialogue, ensuring that my work is both research-informed and practically applicable. I am published in the Chartered College of Teaching’s Impact magazine, and I have contributed to panel discussions at HMC conferences and with ISTIP, sharing insights on reflective practice, coaching, and teacher development.
